Making clients cash buyers to start his property portfolio
DW & BW wanted to start a property portfolio. There was no mortgage against their own house, so we were able to release £1m on a facility mortgage with complete flexibility. This meant they could pay back the mortgage immediately (the day they got it) and have the £1m in an account attracting no interest charges. It also means, as cash buyers, they can now move very quickly for suitable buy to let properties.
