Complex needs resolved by advising private bank route
A longstanding client was relocating from London with his family. To buy the £3.2 million farmhouse they’d found, the client needed an interest only loan of £2.4 million, while letting their existing main residence, and keeping their other buy to let property.
Our solution was to raise capital across the two existing properties through two buy to let mortgages. The farmhouse was funded via a private bank interest only loan. The bank was satisfied that the client could afford the new mortgage and service his total debt based on his current income together with future income.
